Huffing irritatingly, she trailed behind Stephanie, trying to keep her heels from sinking into the clumpy grit that covered the bush track. Steph would have to be far more than bored to be spot blind with Helena, although she couldn’t quite put her finger on the full reason. “It’s not as easy as you make it look by treading through sludge like this,” Helena complained, gesturing towards the mud beneath her heels. She had never been to Pulse, yet any night club at all, always being the safe, clean young girl she was.
Standing outside of the pulsing night club, the lights flashed hysterically in front of her to the beat of the loud bass that echoed throughout the street. Helena raised her eyebrows, stunned, sucking in a deep breath of air, smoke filling her lungs from a couple of men standing outside the doors puffing on a cigarette carelessly. “Um, how do you plan on actually getting into the club under aged?” She questioned, her eyes as large groups of people entered and excited the club.
“Yes, we can’t all be as gifted and fortunate as me.” Stephanie replied, not sure whether she believed it or not. Yes, she had the ability to walk through dirt and grass in her heels it was something that she was almost proud of. But tonight wasn’t about her, it was about Helena… or it was about her getting back at Robbie. Either way it now didn’t matter, it was going to be fun and Stephanie was going to enjoy it.
Steph watched Helena’s shocked face as she looked at the club, and she couldn’t help but smile. This was definitely going to be more fun then she’d anticipated. Rolling her eyes at her roommate’s naivety, Stephanie grabbed her wrist. True, the first time she and Sierra had come to Pulse, the two of them had faked entering it so perfectly that the security guard didn’t even second guess them. It probably helped that the two of them frequented the place since, Stephanie slowly becoming known to the bouncers as the owner’s granddaughter’s best friend. Besides, she and Frankie had gotten in easily before and now Steph just needed a drink. Stephanie pulled Helena towards the door, her expensive heels pounding purposefully against the ground it was a wonder they didn’t break. Using the VIP entrance, the two entered the club with ease, Stephanie heading straight towards the stairs to the VIP lounge as the view inside was common to her. Due to the current state of her friendship with Sierra, Steph was surprised it was so easy to get in and upstairs, but quickly sat in a booth that wasn’t the one she frequented with Sierra and waited for a waitress.
